IMPLEMENTASI PROYEK PENGUATAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA: STUDI KASUS PENGEMBANGAN KARAKTER DEMOKRATIS

This study examines the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) through the theme “Voice of Democracy” at SMA Islam Progresif Daarussalaam Sukabumi and its impact on the development of students’ democratic character. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results show that the implementation of P5 with the “Voice of Democracy” theme was effective in enhancing student engagement and internalizing democratic values such as freedom of expression, respect for differences, and social responsibility. Students actively participated in activities such as election simulations and debates, which encouraged the development of critical and collaborative thinking skills. Although challenges related to inclusiveness in participation were found—especially among students with low self-confidence—the program generally succeeded in creating a supportive environment for democratic character formation. The role of teachers as facilitators in creating an inclusive learning atmosphere was also a key factor in the program’s success. The study recommends enhancing inclusive strategies and providing continuous support to ensure all students are equally involved in democratic activities at school.
