Abstract

This community service program was carried out to support the development of religious character in students by teaching the procedures of wudhu (ablution) and prayer in accordance with Islamic teachings. Conducted at MDTA Nurul Huda Haurkolot, the two-day activity was designed to resemble an active classroom learning process, combining counseling, hands-on practice, and reflection. The first day focused on understanding and practicing wudhu, while the second day centered on comprehensive learning of prayer movements and recitations. A communicative approach and interactive media were employed to ensure maximum student engagement. The results showed that participants were able to grasp the material effectively and demonstrated progress in their daily worship practices. In addition, the activity strengthened positive interaction between the implementation team and the school community, while also paving the way for the continuation of religious education programs at the elementary level.
